Welcome to Howard Park!
Located in the heart of San Carlos, adjoining the White Oaks neighborhood is the gorgeous Howard Park. With luscious tree-lined streets that wind around high-end homes, this neighborhood has become one of the most desirable in the city. In fact, Howard Park took this title from White Oaks in 2010 and has held on to it ever since.
One of the reasons Howard Park appeals to residents is its location on the flat lands. In recent times, homebuyers prefer the pedestrian-friendly walkability of this neighborhood verses the secluded hillside. It’s also just a short distance from the downtown area with delicious restaurants, local shops, and friendly people. Howard Oaks consists of an array of architectural tastes from English to Mediterranean, even Arts and Crafts bungalows. One can find more extravagant, contemporary homes on Knoll Drive and Elizabeth Street.
And of course it would be remise not to mention Burton Park. A monumental locale, the park has played host to the annual San Carlos Hometown Days festival for over 30 years now. This weekend long event offers delicious food, entertainment, live music, even a parade on the Saturday morning! It’s the perfect time for the community to come together and celebrate their beloved San Carlos.
